Noah Lyles and Junelle Bromfield Win Gold at the London Diamond League

American sprinter Noah Lyles wins the 200m in 19.83 seconds.

Junelle Bromfield takes 400m title.

American sprinter Noah Lyles has won the 200m at the London Diamond League in a time of 19.83 seconds, finishing ahead of fellow American Fred Kerley (19.98) and Canadian Andre De Grasse (20.03).

It is Lyles' second Diamond League victory of the season, having also won in Doha in May.

The 25-year-old is the reigning world champion in the 200m and will be one of the favorites for gold at the upcoming World Championships in Eugene, Oregon.

In the women's 400m, American Junelle Bromfield took the title in a time of 50.56 seconds, ahead of Great Britain's Victoria Ohuruogu (51.08) and Poland's Anna Kielbasinska (51.16).

Bromfield, who is also the reigning NCAA champion in the 400m, is now unbeaten in five races this season.

  • Ryan Crouser (USA) won the men's shot put with a throw of 23.36 meters.
