Eurovision Song Contest 2023 Hosts Revealed

Four Hosts for Rotterdam Event

Liverpool-born pop star Alesha Dixon among the chosen

The hosts for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 have been revealed. On February 13th, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) announced that Ukrainian singer and songwriter Yulia Sanina, British singer and TV personality Alesha Dixon, Italian singer and TikTok star Paola Egonu, and Dutch DJ and producer Jan Smit will host the live shows in May.

Sanina will host the two semi-finals on May 9th and 11th. Dixon, Egonu, and Smit will join forces to present the Grand Final on May 13th. All three shows will be broadcast live from the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool.

Dixon, who was born in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, is perhaps best known for her work with the English girl group Mis-Teeq. She has also had a successful solo career, releasing two studio albums and several hit singles.

Egonu, who was born in Cittadella, Italy, is a professional volleyball player and has represented Italy at both the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics. She is also known for her large following on TikTok, where she has over 3 million followers.

Smit, who was born in Volendam, Netherlands, is a singer, television presenter, and actor. He has hosted the Dutch version of the Eurovision Song Contest, "Eurovisiesongfestival," since 2010.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will be the 67th edition of the annual competition. The United Kingdom is hosting the event for the first time since 1998.
